Custom Pool Builder in Westlake, FL

Planning a pool in Westlake

Westlake is a newer, master-planned city with neighborhoods built around lakes, parks and consistent streetscapes. Backyards here are often a blank slate, which is ideal for a custom gunite pool: a freeform shape with a raised spa, a clean rectangle with a sun shelf, or a layout that leaves room for a future pergola or outdoor kitchen.

During your free on-site visit we look at setbacks, drainage, utilities, lake banks where they apply, and the route equipment will take into the yard. Many Westlake communities also have an architectural review step for pools, decks and screen enclosures, and we prepare the drawings that review board asks for.

Pool permits in the City of Westlake

Pool permits inside Westlake are handled by the City of Westlake Building Department. Some parcels with a Westlake mailing address can still sit in unincorporated Palm Beach County, so we always confirm the parcel and file with the right office. We prepare the engineering and the full permit package, answer review comments and schedule inspections through final. The pool barrier is typically permitted separately from the pool itself.

Renovating an existing pool

If you already have a pool and want it updated, a renovation can include resurfacing, new waterline tile and coping, a saltwater conversion, LED lighting, new equipment or a new deck — without starting over.

Outdoor living around the pool

Westlake backyards are built for entertaining. We plan the pool together with the space around it: a pergola for shade, an outdoor kitchen with a clear path to the deck, artificial turf where grass struggles, and lighting for evening swims. Prefer to phase the work? We can build the pool first and leave utilities and deck space ready for the next step.
